Simply Fantastic!!!!

The townhouse was perfect for a weekend getaway. It is close to downtown and comfortable for 5 adults. Well-appointed kitchen and the addition of the powder room helped with only one full bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

It was great. The home was clean, management quick to respond with any questions. Only suggestions I would have is that it was a little difficult only having one shower for 7 ladies (seems like a shower could be put in the downstairs bathroom pretty easily) and they needed larger trashcans in the kitchen but other than that it was a great stay!

This town home was clean and had everything we needed! Walkable to everything we wanted to do and see! Shopping and dining on the main street and several historical sites! The neighborhood was lovely!

Very good...lovely spot and safe area! Top bedroom pretty stuffy was the only issue...house was beautiful!!!

This rental has a lot to offer! The hosts are very accommodating and provide plenty of extras like coffee, face cleaning clothes, soap, games, cards, a record player, etc. We've stayed twice and this place is a great fit for our group!

The house was perfectly sized and cozy for myself and 5 girlfriends. All of us getting our own beds, and room to play some games and be social!

The Townhouse on Prospect is a very comfortable home and very well maintained. Short walk into town for shopping and restaurants.
Highly recommend it and would not hesitate to rent it again.

The townhouse on Prospect Hill was fabulous! The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and was in a great location! It was a very short walk to the historic downtown Galena which made our time there so much easier as the downtown area is very busy. We didn’t have to worry about finding parking.

We had 7 women and plenty of room for all of us. The home was very clean and location was great. I would be nice to have another shower but it is listed only one full bath so we knew going into it. Overall, great place. Would stay again.

This property turned out to be perfect for our annual sister trip. There are 5 of us and it fit our needs to a T!! Close to Main Street, easy to find. It was very clean and the information sheet was concise and explained what to do prior to leaving. We will definitely return!

Easy walk to historic downtown where you can come home to a full kitchen, cozy sitting area and everyone gets their own bedroom. Appreciated the beer tokens which encouraged us to try a new pub.

The place is very clean, has a very nice and comfortable appeal. Amenities were wonderful, we really enjoyed the record player and records. We enjoyed our time in Galena and the coziness of the rental.

Great location and very functional, well-equipped home. We had a lovely time with our two families of two small kids each. Would benefit from a second shower (only one for 8 people) but for a weekend get away it was perfectly fine.

Great location, maybe half mile to main street shops (could walk it in warmer months). Excellent communication from renter. Able to fit 8 in family comfortably. Was worried about parking as only street but no problem what so ever, able to park two cars in front of house.

We have been vacationing in Galena for years and love all the activities the town creates. The Townhouse on Prospect is the perfect location with easy access to downtown. The property is spotless and comfortable.

Our stay was wonderful! The outside and inside of the house was beautiful! Everything was so clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice unit. Clean and well equipped. We slept 4 very comfortably in the 4 bedrooms. Could sleep 6 easily and 8 if you don't mind sharing beds. It no longer has a sleeper sofa.

My family got together for my mom's birthday. There was 8 of us. We loved the house and the location was great. We walked to the main shopping/dining area w/ no problem. The top level bedroom was hard to get to...the steps are extremely steep, not everyone could handle them. We also enjoyed the back porch, very relaxing.

Last minute 4th of July trip and saw that this place was available. Initially, I had rented it with low expectations as I felt the pictures didn't translate well. But when I arrived, the first thing you notice is the great curb appeal! And of course, that exciting energy continued into the house. As I was pleasantly surprised to find a great little house waiting for me! Which was very clean and smelled great! I didn't need much assistance when I was there but when I did have a question, I always got a pretty quick friendly response. If Main Street is your jam, this house is very close. We walked there to get coffee and pastries every morning.

Nice outdoor space in front and balcony off the back. The only downside for me is I LOVE to grill and unfortunately, that's not an option here. But I knew that going in so no surprise.

The bonus, secret loft, 4th bedroom was a big hit with my 2 nephews! If you are visiting Galena, I would recommend this place!

We rented this adorable townhouse for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it was the perfect size and distance for the group! Easy walk to Main Street, plenty of room for us all. The only real downfall was one full bath with that many girls and the shower head wasn’t great for pressure. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay again!

The weekend was magical !! I took my 3 granddaughters to Galena for a long weekend prior to me having a major surgery. The place was perfect! Cozy and welcoming ! Chairs and beds were comfy and it was so close to everything!! Check in was seamless as was checkout. Do not hesitate to book this place if you want comfort, ease, history,cleanliness, and close proximity to all the shops. Oh and parking was steps from front door.

Loved this space and being so close to downtown! Great living area that opens into the kitchen, and spacious bedrooms as well. Would definitely stay again. Owners were very responsive, and even shoveled us out during a snow storm! Highly recommend.

This townhouse was very cute and had lots of room for our short little girls trip. You can walk down to the shopping area.

We were a family of three generations and loved our stay at the Townhouse on Prospect. The location was ideal and the walk to shops and restaurants was easy..we did it multiple times each day with a stroller. It was also a very doable walk to Grant's home (although the hill up to the house could be a bit challenging). The townhouse was so well equipped, spotless and such a comfortable and pleasing place just to relax. We'd definitely come again!

This property is beautiful and has wonderful and unique decor. The owners of this property took special care in the interior design to assure a home away from home for those who stay there. We came for a "Girl's Weekend" and enjoyed it immensely.

The townhouse was perfect! The location is amazing - walking distance to Main Street which was super convenient. The house was very clean and perfect size. Super cute home. Very homey. The rooms are all upstairs and get a little warm when sleeping. All the rooms have fans and the 3rd floor has a window AC unit. The key is to turn the air down really low downstairs or you will get too warm when sleeping. The house has almost all the amenities you would need. No grill or patio though. There is a small balcony but only fits a few people. The backyard is off limits. We didn’t read the info when first entering the home and accidentally trespassed on the neighbors backyard. Seems the other side of the townhome is owned by someone that lives there full time. Access to the home was super easy and no issues finding parking. If you want to rent kayaks then Nutz Outdoors is in walking distance as well! The property manager was super easy to communicate with via text or call. She let us check in early as well! Overall I’d HIGHLY recommend staying here. It was fabulous.

The house was very cute and very clean. I liked the small thoughtful touches throughout the house, fans in each room, nightlights, makeup remover wipes, notes throughtout the house with reminders, etc. The whole process was so smooth. This was a great place for our girls weekend and we will definitely stay here again.

My three friends and I had a wonderful time catching up on our respective lives in the comfort of the Townhouse on Prospect. The furniture in the living room was comfortable for sitting around and talking, the kitchen was ideal for our morning breakfasts, the outside deck was great for sitting out in the evening and the beds were perfect when we finally decided it was time to stop talking! WE were close enough to downtown to walk, but opted to drive because we knew there was shopping to be done. The owners also left a binder with suggestions for activities in the area, restaurants, shops, etc. We would stay here again.

Rented the townhouse for Memorial Day girls weekend & it was wonderful! Beds were very comfortable & townhouse was decorated nicely. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals & enjoy wine. It was nice to be able to spread out after spending the day at the winery & shopping downtown. A quick walk to downtown shops, restaurants, Ulysses S. Grant house & Belvedere Mansion. Back deck was relaxing to enjoy our coffee & watch the birds in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

We so enjoyed our second stay at the townhouse; the location is ideal for walking to the main street and accessible to walking trails along the river. The house is spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. Property management is great to work with; responsive and quick to address any questions.

Everything was great. The only thing that my son complain about was the DVD not working upstairs, as we called it “The Penthouse”. Other than that we had a great time

We enjoyed every moment of our stay: very spacious, including the back porch, and met all of our needs for sleeping, eating and socializing. Great large kitchen table for playing games. Had every accommodation we could ask for.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was very good. Close enough to walk to town if you wished. It may have been related to covid but there were no napkins but did have paper towels. Very quiet neighborhood. I would recommend a stay here.

The home on Prospect was absolutely perfect! We loved the Galena charm. It was such a comfy and cozy stay. The home was sparkling clean when we arrived.

The rental was in a great location with plenty of room for our group. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed and the towels were incredibly soft.

We stayed at prospect and it was so beautiful and cozy! It’s a very quick walk to Main Street. The home was clean and tidy. We loved the record player with so many choices to listen to as well! We definitely recommend this place

I stayed at the Townhouse on Prospect for a Girls' Getaway. It was perfect! The living room was very comfortable and cozy. There is a turntable with records that we had a blast with! There's also a DVD/VHS player. The full size kitchen was very pretty and up-to-date. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The shower had really good water pressure. My favorite, though, was the back porch! It was so nice to come back after a day of shopping in town and settle in with a glass of wine to watch the birds and enjoy nature. I will definitely stay at the Townhouse on Prospect again!

This is a beautifully updated townhouse that offers all of the comforts of home! It was a cozy place to stay and just a short stroll to the excellent shopping and dining offerings of downtown Galena. Stay here and you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to go back soon!
