We enjoyed our stay.

Great. Had everything we needed to make full meal for party of four. Lovely view from patio area. Only complaint is that the coffee maker took an hour to make a full pot of coffee. Perhaps needs good cleaning? Also electric fireplace would not light. Great proximity to downtown shopping and we really enjoyed the solitude provided to get away from it all at the golf villa. Thank you, we will be back.

Everything about the stay was flawless. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. The property was clean, stocked with basic necessities and the location is better than what is in the listing description.

Understandably it is one of the least expensive properties you can rent in the territory. With that being said it was like driving a 30 year old car with 300k miles. It got the job done but was not luxurious. Missing a lot of normal items found at a rental house - shampoo, conditioner, liquid/bar soap, lotion, tea, honey/sugar/creamer, a keurig, etc. Place is old and pretty beat up. Even the arm rest on the right side of the couch is broken (very strange).

Again, place is nice for the price but you get what you pay for. Huge downgrade from the Westaway house we rent the 2 nights before.

I would give this rental property a 3/5 stars just because of the location and view. The property itself was very disappointing. The couch arm was broken, the couch pillows were more like seat cushions than pillows, there were holes in the bed sheets and they literally only provide you with salt, pepper and oil. They provide a coffee pot but no coffee, which wasn’t a problem for me because I always bring my own. But every piece of furniture was uncomfortable or rickety and the carpet really needs to be replaced this property needs some serious updates.

Beautiful property, great location definitely will go back someday.

I stay in Poplar Ridge Townhouses at least twice/year.This unit was hands down one of the worst I have rented. NOT clean, paint chipping, carpet dirty, front screen door did not close/lock, front storm door did not function properly w/lock, sheets were dirty, blinds did not cover the bedroom windows. The refrigerator was great - kept our water/beer and food cold!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this condo.
Most of the appliances were in working order. We would definitely recommend this unit to our friends.

This property was extremely nice, comfortable, modern, and made her a great stay. You can feel confident that this is one to choose.

This vacation was an amazing experience! The property was beautiful, both inside and out. I enjoyed the beautiful view of the pond, and the overall beauty of the territory. The decoration of the condo was pleasing, and the bed was super comfortable. The jetted tub in the master bathroom was a nice touch. I needed a quiet place to relax, so I am already thinking of when to return.

We have stayed at this unit several times. It is always spotless and in good working order. We liked the new electric fireplace. It is so much easier to flick a switch and enjoy the glow without all the hassle and mess of bringing in wood and starting a fire. We will be back in the future.

This is our fourth stay at this location. A great place to be at, very intimate and sitting at the 18th hole of the golf course allowing us to watch golfers while we sit out drinking wine and soaking up the countryside.

This villa is conveniently located to the owners club and marine; both places that we enjoy visiting. Trails are right outside the villa to hop on. Home is clean, well kept and considered our home away from home. booking is easy and management great to work with.

Had a great experience. It’s spotlessly clean and appointed as described, with a relaxing view over the expanse of greens and pond right out the back, access to lovely clubhouse amenities right up the road, and a absolutely wonderful spa at the entrance. Book massages well in advance, because the openings fill up but lots of other services may still be available. No extra charges for steam room, hot tub, healthy teas and indulgent snacks like yogurt covered pretzels and chocolate covered nuts. Galena is as timelessly charming and endearing as you remember.

We came up to see our son and his family. Spent great quality time with the grand baby.Grilled out on the patio and had lunch at the restaurant. Wonderful experience!

Good location. Arm on couch was broken. Door lock was broken, so could not securely keep anything there while gone. Flimsy slide lock on frame only means of security while inside. Ants in the upper bathroom. Mattress could have been better.

We found the condo to be very clean and had a great view. We enjoyed the gym at the Owner's club very much!! Very quiet and serene environment for a getaway!

Perfect for our mother-daughter weekend away!

Nice clean villa with everything you’d need for a stay for a long weekend. 10 minutes to Main St. that offers plenty off shops and dining. We were there Halloween weekend and the parade was cool. Plan is to come back and stay again next year.

Our unit was lovely, updated and clean. The view was lovely and despite 2 days of cooler, rainy weather, the double rainbow on the 2nd day made up for it.The manager was most helpful and prompt in answereing our commincations. Would definitely recommend to friends.

This is a nice property for a short getaway. Place is just as it is listed online. It's a good amount of space for a couple and the view of the golf course and hills is very nice. The nearby owner's club outdoor pool was a welcome treat on a hot day.

A few upgrades would go a long way:
Coffee! The house has a coffee pot and filters but no coffee grounds. This is a pretty basic amenity for only a few dollars and would be an easy win/at least not a disappointment for guests. A container of basic Folgers would be fine. If guests have preferences for something else they can get it themselves it but at least give something.
The outside furniture is OK, but the chairs could use a wash and the table is not meant to have a meal on, just a place to rest drinks.
The sofa's right arm squeaks loudly when you lean on it.

Also we couldn't figure out how to lock the door from the outside and the email communication was not clear/not a help. We eventually got it to work but it wasn't easy.

We also struggled to open the sliding patio door but after many failed attempts, we finally realized there was 2x4 wood plank on the floor that had to be manually moved out of the way.

We have now stayed at this same location 3 times over the past several years when we visit Glena. It is a perfect rental for 2 people. Very Clean & Maintained. Will be back there again next year!!

Cute little place to stay for 2 or 3 people. Only negative was we said 4 people were staying and they only provided bath towels for 2.

The unit was very clean and location was good. It had everything needed except coffee - the details state it has a coffee maker but doesn’t say to bring your own - I’ve always had keurig machines with K-cups provided. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to know. The couch and chair are very firm/stiff and not for lounging on, pillows were awful - needed chiropractor when we got home due to stiff neck. Sitting out in the deck watching the golfers was wonderful, owners club was a great addition to this rental. Would stay there again but bring my coffee and pillows

QUIET PEACEFUL TOWNHOME ON THE 18TH GREEN

Nice getaway despite the rainy weather. Unit was comfortable for the short stay. Needs a little TLC but nothing that impacts the stay. Excellent view. We enjoyed watching the golfers, sunsets, and stars.

Good overall. Clean, great location, beautiful view from property. Kitchen lights didn't work, making it hard to prepare food in the evening. Had to prepare/cook food by stove light. One day hit 82 outside, 78 in rental. Couldn't get AC to work. No call back from management when I left a message. Otherwise, nice rental.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals in Galena and this one was one of the cleanest! Nearly spotless. Everything was well appointed and the jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Loved the deck out back and the walking path behind was great. Only thing was the front glass door doesn’t latch, the back sliding door didn’t lock (but there was a block), and the screen door was off. But those things didn’t affect us and I’m sure they’ll be fixing them! We can’t wait to go back. This is a great unit!

great for a weekend away. The location was a further out then we thought but we enjoyed the drive to and from that gave a country feeling. Overall, the condo was in good condition. The temp was a drastically different from the first floor to the second floor.

We were looking for something within driving distance to get away. It was great. Only thing that could have made it better was a little real snow at Chestnut Mountain.

My husband and I have stayed in this unit several times. Of upmost importance, it is very clean. The townhouse is comfortable and meets all of our needs. We have never been disappointed with this townhouse and as long as it is kept up as it has been in the past, we will stay here again.

Condo was very clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and 1st floor was drafty but it was otherwise very nice. Had everything we needed.

The place full filled our expectations. One of use was able to long onto the WIFI but not both. It was nicely located to our horse trail ride, Chestnut Resort, and offered several walking options.

We’ve stayed near Galena many times thru the years and always enjoy the town.
This was our first stay in this unit and were very pleased by it. It was just as pictured and very clean. We had a little trouble logging on to the WiFi but one call to the manager had it fixed. Great customer service! Would highly recommend this unit.

Every few years we return to the Territories to visit family. So our stays at 10 Poplar have covered at least 10 years. This is a very well maintained property and suits our needs very well. We enjoy walking the Territories. This is an ideal property for a couple or small family.

Everything was great!

Clean and easy to find. Very comfortable with nice kitchen. Location is perfect for any of the courses. Electricity was out for about 6 hours Friday evening. A call to your contact was well received and sympathetic giving us website for updates. A follow up call from her the next day was appreciated even though it was not in her control. Would book a second stay next time in area.

Excellent location! Short 15 minute drive to town! Clean and comfortable rental property! Great views of the golf course...prefect for that morning cup of coffee on the deck!

Looked forward to getting away for a few days of rest and relaxation. This home provided just that. Conveniently located to hiking trails, owners club and marina. Cozy with modern amenities. Especially enjoyed sitting out on deck in the mornings and evenings to enjoy. WIFI worked well. Had a quick call with management due to the locking of door and all was good. Will be renting again.

This is the 2nd time we have used this property. (Last year was a no go due to the virus). We enjoy our stay at this location because it fits our needs, well priced, clean and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Galena area.

This cute townhome was a pleasant surprise! Great location on the golfcourse and view of the pond. Quick trip into downtown Galena, and we loved the pool and restaurant at the lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Eagle Ridge Condo. Everything was as it should , clean and quiet. The condo faces the 18th hole of one of the golf courses which was closed, so the cart path created a nice trail for walking. The only complaint would be with Eagle Ridge. We had a tough time telling what restaurants were still open.

Very nice property in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Our questions were answered promptly and we will be happy to return in the future.

Having stayed in this unit previously it was clean as usual. Great king mattress, good location near owners club. Owner leaves notes to educate people on his unit. I wish he would leave a little note on the TV. Back deck could use a power wash. Overall would use this unit in the future.

We stayed just before the golf course was open, so the grounds were very quiet and unpopulated. LOTS of birds, beautiful views, and the condo has all the amenities of home - we ate in every night, and sat outside with drinks in the evening. Perfect landing spot for a trip to Galena.

This townhouse is in a superb location. It is easy to find and close to the intersection of 2 primary roads. In addition the view in the back is sensational. It is updated and very clean. This was our 2nd stay. We are planning to return this year.

We came for a 2 night stay and were very happy with the rental. It was a very quiet location and everything was very clean. The wifi connection was very good. Everything we needed to cook meals was there.

We had a great time discovering Galena and the surrounding area from this comfortable condo/townhouse.
