Oakmont Lodge

This unit was an excellent choice for our family getaway weekend. It has plenty of bedrooms with an actual bed for everyone (not a sleeper sofa etc..). The game room was a hit for everyone especially the Pac Man video game. I asked for more firewood to be delivered and management responded immediately. We will definitely return to this unit.

Great house for 5 couples.

had lots room in kitchen and table area. grill area was perfect. backroom was used every night. bedrooms were good size with own bathrooms. felt like the living room didnt have enough chairs or couches but over all things were good.

4 Girls get a way and the bedrooms upstairs were fabulous to talk to each other the way the rooms are positioned. All have their own bathrooms and we were extremely comfortable!

The home was beautiful, clean and very spacious. Loved the lay out and all bedrooms had there own bathrooms. We had 2 families with lots of room, had everything we needed. Loved the game room, patio with fire pit and hot tub! Would highly recommend!

This home is clean and well appointed. Each room is tastefully decorated and there is ample space for everyone! It’s a wonderful place to stay with a large family and each bedroom has its own bathroom! The kitchen/dining/family room combo is wide open and extremely comfortable. The game room is an added bonus! Would highly recommend this rental as your home away from home while visiting Galena!

Our family stayed in the Galena house fir a long weekend. 8 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room and the game room and hottub were a Hugh hit! Everyone had plenty of room and so much to do. We could all sit down at the Hugh dining set and eat together as a family.

The home was very clean! Has many windows ... you can see all the beautiful area surrounding it! Well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen garbage bags ! Good communication with property manager . The game room was a huge hit with the grandkids! Comfortable beds! Really enjoyed our time in this home !

We’ve now stayed at this home for 3 straight years and hoping for a repeat in 2025!! The home is beautiful and we have nothing but praise !!!

We had a wedding nearby and wanted to stay with family. The house was a great size and very accommodating to our group. We enjoyed the game room a lot as well as the hot tub. We also enjoyed going up to the indoor and outdoor pool with our kids. We have already recommended this property and Vacations of Galena to our friends. Property Management was very professional and helpful whenever I reached out. We hope to be back soon!

What a wonderful property! Felt very secluded even tho other homes were nearby. All rooms were large including the bedrooms. AC worked fantastic as we stayed on the hottest days of summer. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The mattresses were very comfortable. Gourmet kitchen was fantastic. Game room was plentiful and fun. Booked the next years stay immediately before we left! That says it all about this property.

We had multiple families coming together and this house was exceptional. Every family had their own room and bathroom. Even the adult kids had a space w their own bathroom. The seating space was comfy and ample options.

Our family rented Oakmont and 2 other homes nearby for a reunion of 26 people. Oakmont was WONDERFUL. We loved the bar area which we used for both serving a buffet meal or having the kids eat. The game room on the main floor meant that we could watch kids playing while still at the table. In addition, it was easy to step right outside to the grill or additional seating to eat or converse. This continuity made for good connection. The long table in the DR was wonderful and easily sat 16. The proximity to the owner's club made for easy access to the pool and game rooms. We highly recommend Oakmont for large groups.

This home was perfect for a group of women just hanging out. We also enjoyed the Club pool.

My group of girls love this house. It allows us to be together while doing different things because it's so open. We've stayed in several different places in the territory and this is by far our favorite place so we continue to come back. We love that we can all(12 people) sit at the table together for meals and easily sleep the 12 people in VERY comfortable beds. The house has many amenities for a large group to enjoy!!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this beautiful property. There were 11 of us with ages ranging from 10 to 77 years old, and it has enough bedrooms, bathrooms, and living space to spaciously accommodate all! The game room and hot tub are fabulous. The response from Management when I noticed there were no dishwasher detergent/pods was immediate, and were delivered to our door. The house/property is beautiful, clean, and within minutes to the Owners Club where we enjoyed the pool, basketball court, and gym. We would stay here again!

This house was perfect for our family! Lot's to do and close to everything. It was great to relax and hang out together with the open floor plan. We also liked the privacy of having a bathroom in every bedroom. Definitely will be recommending to friends!

The home had enough room for my 3 adult children and 4 grandkids. The recreation room kept the kids busy during our stay. Fireplace came in handy on the cold days and nights.

It was only last weekend we were there and are already scheming how/when to go back! Rented this 7 months prior to planned event (daughter's wedding weekend at Eagle Ridge) and am glad we did, as this rental is popular for large groups. Spacious, beautiful, homey and very accommodating with lots of beautiful spaces for entire group. Never did figure out how to use the microwave, but that might be on me. Enjoy your stay here...I suspect it will be memorable for all.

This home was absolutely as advertised. We took advantage of everything this home had to offer from the beautiful kitchen to grill, the game room and the hot tub. The property management company got us the codes on time and check in and check out were a breeze. They were also very responsive to a couple of questions we had.

Fantastic property with a great game room. Spent all our time playing pool and shuffleboard. Nice open concept floor plan as well.

We have come to Galena now for the past 7 years. this was the first trip that every single person just loved the house! Well stocked with amenities, clean great WIFI!

The home was gorgeous and spacious. The game room was a huge bonus as it was blazing the week we went. Our only complaints were the oven was tiny for a 5 bedroom rental and the previous guests took 6 off the proximity cards home so I’m out the money it cost for Day passes. They offered to reimburse me if I went back to the owners club and requested a receipt but that wasn’t in our timeline. Also the furniture and bedding were a bit dated but we made do.

This was a beautiful, clean house that had plenty of room for everyone to be together. The game room was a hit! Due to time and weather, we never took advantage of the patio or hot tub, maybe next time!

We booked this house for a family weekend and we were not disappointed. The house had more than enough space for our 7 adults and 2 children. The hot tub and the game room helped to create many happy memories.

Stayed at this home as we were in town for our daughters wedding nearby. Very close to owners club which was great ! We loved the home very spacious and lots of amenities. We were just too busy with the wedding to enjoy them all. I loved the fact each bedroom had a bathroom which made getting ready in the morning so much easier ! Thank you again !

Property was very nice and spacious (even the bedrooms were large). Lacked a few kitchen amenities (could use more silverware). No carpets which makes the house easy to clean but sound really travels throughout. Bring your slippers but floors are heated. Will definitely try to rent again.

We have stayed in MANY Galena territory home rentals and this was our favorite one yet! This house has it all! We wished we had more time to enjoy everything! We have little ones so it was nice to have all the amenities on one floor instead of in the basement like more homes. My only suggestion to guests is to bring house slippers because the first floor has stone floors which are pretty hard on the feet. We loved the open layout and the game room! We didn’t get in the hot tub but the water was nice and warm. Definitely will be staying here again!

Having stayed in numerous properties in Eagle Ridge, this home ranks near the top! Great open space, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor patio with fire pit (wood provided), hot tub, and grill was perfect for relaxing and visiting with friends. The game room was another great place to spend time. The house was clean and well-maintained. Would stay here again.

Very good. We cleaned the grill A LOT! There was an inch of build up in the bottom pan as well as the grease trap was full. We understood we needed to clean the grill after we were done and did. I sharpened the knives in the kitchen and bought some chalk for the pool table. Great fun. The refrigerator in the garage may be on its way out. Seemed a little hard to get cool, but we put a lot of stuff in it, too. Great time and thank you.

My family of 12 (10 adults and 2 kids) rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. It was the perfct fit for all of us!! Big open space for all of us to congregate, but enough space for us to break off or get alone time. The place is beautiful and clean! I read other reviews about the garage refrigerator. Make sure to set it to cold when you first get there and give it time, by the following day it was just right. The hot tub was super clean and a fun extra addition while we had a fire outside. And everyone in the family was commenting on how comfortable the beds were. Some of the shower heads could use a good cleaning, hard water build up...2 of the 4 upstairs rooms were impossible to use, but we shared. We will definitely be coming back for future family trips.

This home beautiful and great for our group of 7 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. Loved the large open concept and table for 12. The attached game room got plenty of use. Our favorite feature had to be the five bedrooms, each with there own bathroom. Very short ride to the Owner's club to swim. Scenery was awesome! A couple small issues. There was no Kleenex in the house when we arrived but a phone call solved the problem in minutes. Having the second fridge in the garage was terrific but when we arrived it was warm. A closer inspection revealed that it needed defrosting. We turned it off and let it sit overnight and problem was solved. We would go back in a minute if we could.

We loved the layout of the house, bathrooms in each bedroom and game room. The master bathroom was awesome. Only 2 small issues. Couldn't find the dustpan for sweeping up and fridge in garage doesn't get very cold for drinks, but freezer was working. Overall we would recommend to our friends to rent and will consider again for our family in the future.

We all enjoyed our time at 1 Oakmont! There were 9 of us including young children. The home was clean. lots of space and provided the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the game room where the adults were able to hang out, play pool without worries about waking the kids :)! Also the owners club outdoor pool was awesome. Vacation homes of Galena were so accomadating and friendly too! We would most definitely stay again!!

This home was perfect for a post-COVID family gathering with our sons and grandchildren. The 5 bedrooms with on-suites gave every family their own private space. The rest of the house was beautiful and allowed for us to share meals and down-time together. The game room and hot tub were a hit with the bigger "kids" in the group. The golf courses and the swimming pool were just a short drive away. We will definitely reserve this home again for a future get-away.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this house. It was very clean and had all amenities we needed. The kitchen had all the things we needed to cook all our meals. The game room was an awesome space for all of us to hang out. We also used the hot tub and had fires in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this house.

We found this gem and it was a perfect fit for our family! Every couple had their own bedroom/bathroom which was great. The living space was open and very comfortable and the game room was a huge hit! Many game of pool and shuffle board were played, and we dusted off our pac man skills a bit too! The huge dining table was so nice for us to all eat together too. The house is close to town but set in a lovely hilly location great for walks and sightseeing.

Our group of ten loved the house; it suited us perfectly. It allowed for the fellowship we were looking for yet the privacy couples prefer.We were pleasantly surprised to see each bedroom had its own attached bath. The large dining table allowed us to eat meals together and have great discussion.

We loved the location, very close to downtown. Each couple had their own bathroom and most enjoyed a king bed. Despite everything being closed because of covid, we had a fabulous time with the Hot tub pool table and shuffleboard. Huge table to play cards or games at night. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the living room fireplace after hot hot tub. This was a spectacular place to stay.

Oakmont Lodge is a spacious, invited home. House was very clean and the kitchen well appointed. Game room was enjoyed by all, beds are comfortable and each bedroom has a private bath. Plenty of firewood available, we kept the fire going all weekend. Hot tub is a nice plus. Host was very accommodating and always quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again.

We have been renting in Galena for 30 years and this house was top 3 for sure. Loved how all the common areas were on one level. Beds and Towels were top notch

Due to Covid the bride really wanted a nice place to gather her bridal party and still be safe. The house was absolutely perfect! We loved that all the rooms were spacious. King beds in most rooms was a huge plus. The sunroom is amazing! We cooked all meals in so the kitchen was especially enjoyed. We’ve stayed in numerous homes in the Galena Territory but this is by far my favorite. We will be back!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Oakmont Lodge. The home's description was accurate and the amenities were ideal for our family. The property was clean and Linda was very helpful with our stay. We would recommend this home and plan to stay again next time we come to the Galena Territory.

Family bonding and scenery this home is it it ! The house was clean (I have high standards ). The land and home were beautifully maintained . Dealing with Linda was an absolute pleasure! She was patient while she answered all my questions. She listened to our specific needs and found us the PERFECT house !

We loved our time here. From the game room to the outdoor hot tub and the fireplace, there was something for everyone and we enjoyed spending time together as a family. The surrounding trails and scenery are amazing. We will definitely stay here again!
