Creekwood 3 Galena Vista

We really liked this unit and the space was perfect for the 5 of us. The unit was very clean. The only issue we had was the lack of certain items in the kitchen. Hard to make meals for 5 people with only one tiny frying pan, no pot holders and all the spices were expired. We made do and management was notified over the lack of cooking pans. The unit did not have extra towels for the pool, so make sure to pack those. Management was very responsive and the emails about our stay were very informative.

What a nice home nestled in the rolling hills of Galena

The place was perfect and beautiful I would have along with everyone else just stayed there forever the pool was beautiful and game room and snack bar and marina with a fun park for kids just perfect wish I could live there forever and the scenery just beautiful. Also has a country store with restaurant and a delicious deli. We also went to another restaurant in the Galena Territory that had a delicious buffet so delicious .And wow I am not a golfer but wow the courses were so beautiful and very well taken care of wow so many courses.

The place was clean and comfortable. It was just as described and we had everything we needed. There was a binder with clear directions for everything we had access to, plus some restaurant menus and magazines with info on the area. We were able to use the Owner's Club and Marina easily. One note is to bring a bag of ice if you use a lot. The unit only has ice cube trays. We would definitely stay there again!

Had a great holiday weekend with my inlaws, wife, and 2 young kids. Very clean, beautiful view out back. Towels for all of us, washer/dryer on site, and a ton of natural light. Kids and family had no issues using the amenities. Grill worked great and was clean. Only complaints would be that the townhouse is better suited for 4 people. It can sleep 6 but sofa bed is the typical springy, hard, inconsistent, and uncomfortable fold out bed and the kitchen table only has 4 chairs. We used 2 stools at counter for other two and it worked but not ideal for 6. Perfect for 4 people. Those are my only complaints and they are minor and didn't affect the weekend at all. Would definitely go again (but with only 4). Thank you to the owner for a great weekend. Looking forward to coming back.

This had everything we needed. Good location, quiet, clean, outside space. No complaints, we would stay here again. Highly recommend.

We enjoy each time and coming to the Galena territories. This unit had updates and many kitchen items for making the stay great for our family.

OK for the most part but we've had better. Upper bed was extremely firm. Seating was fine, decent tv Kitchen was ok but missing some basics such as potholders. Location was great nice and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay at Creekwood. Very cozy house , very well furnished. We loved also the fireplace. We highly recommend it.

Loved the condo! Everything was better than expected and just the right size for two couples. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening! Think you’d want to know that the dishwasher is not attached to the counter and kept falling out when we placed dishes in it. Just needs a couple of screws. Also there were not nearly enough washcloths in the bathrooms...just five cloths for 4 people for three nights. We hope to visit again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We returned to Galena for the first time during the summer in quite a while! This golf villa was in a great location, not too far from town, in a nice and quiet spot. The decor was really nice and it was so clean! The furniture was comfy, with lots of pillows and blankets, too! My family of 5 enjoyed playing the board games the villa had during a rainy, story night. Would definitely rent again.

Our rental was wonderful! We had fantastic views, clean, comfy beds, and affordable. We had some very rainy weather on our way in and we were able to confirm early check-in. Very satisfied. We normally visit twice a year here. Galena is such a beautiful area.

Whether a rental is clean is a top priority for us and this property certainly was. No black feet/socks. No overlooked areas of grime. No dust anywhere. Even the outside patio was guest-ready. It was perfect. The property was cute and comfortable, with lots of extras to make the stay wonderful. We're totally coming back.

Enjoyed our stay! The rental was fabulous, it was perfect. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans and glasses. You are outside of town and it was peaceful. The outside sitting area was great, you could watch all the golfers go by. We are planning to come back in the fall. The rental was perfect for two couples.

We had a great stay the place was clean and overall in good condition the only down is i wish the beds were updated. i also wish there was better direction to the extra amenities we did not use them because we did not know where to go.

Very well maintained, clean and warm. Shared the space with 2 couples for a weekend stay. Close by to many local attractions. We did Galena and could not have been happier with our nearby accommodations.

This was a great find in Galena! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do so again! We booked for Halloween weekend, not realizing what that means in Galena. So glad we did not book closer to the party. Enjoyed the party but was able to go back to the quiet dark of this condo community. That said, owner needs to hear that housekeeping between stays is lacking. Wine glasses were dirty in the cupboard. Per instructions dishwasher to be run at checkout. Prior apparently filled dishwasher but did not run. Dishes were simply put away dirty. Gel pod still in the soap dispenser and coffee/wine stains in the bottom if dishwasher. Bathroom window was unlocked and upstairs sitting area needed vacuum.

My wife and I needed a quiet getaway, and our stay was exactly that. Condo was immaculate, amenities were abundant, could not have been better. We were so relaxed the first full day, we never left the condo. Kept a fire going all day, and really enjoyed doing nothing. Enjoyed Galena, did do a lot of antiquing and did find some treasures. All in all, a tremendous stay.

Everything was great and was exactly as described in the photos. The only suggestion I would have was to organize the kitchen a bit better, it wasn't easy to find what we needed in a tight space. Location was great, property was clean and we had a nice weekend away from Chicago.

Over all good stay but if mattresses of sofas are in better condition.

We went on a girls trip for a long weekend. Great space for 3, 4 would be the max to me. Only 2 bathrooms with the upstairs one only able to have 1 person in at a time. We were running low on toilet paper, I texted and they delivered ASAP. No towels for the pool though so make sure to bring your own. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. Very peaceful and full of nature!

Great Vaction home. Had a great Time

We rented this home for a getaway with friends to spend a few days in Galena where we have been many times before. The house was clean and well maintained. It was convenient to travel into Galena. I would not hesitate to book this home again.

The Villa looked just like the pictures! It was clean, great location and the management company handled our calls professionally. Can't wait to go back! Only have one recommendation. We had a wonderful time staying at 3 Creekwood Lane. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The access we had to the Owner's Club was such a great bonus. We used the pool everyday! Overall, we enjoyed our time at this rental place.

Everything from start to finish on this rental was smooth and easy. The property was peaceful and beautiful; everything was very comfortable and in working order.

Itvwas BEAUTIFUL quite clean environment.

We enjoyed our stay in Galena! This location worked well with our situation. It was very cozy, we will say it was a little cold in some rooms at this location, there was a fireplace and it had everything you could need!!! Would stay again and we wish we could’ve taken advantage of the amenities (pool, game room, etc.) Darn COVID

We rented this unit during winter when there was snow on the ground. The pathway and sidewalk was well maintained, shoveled early in the morning. We felt safe going out. The unit was clean and well kept. It had complete kitchen utensils, more than what we needed. It even had a full Kitchen Aid mixer. We would definitely rent this unit again in Galena, Illinoi.

Very spacious, clean and cozy home. My family and I had the chance to relax and recharge.

All six of us that stayed here this year and last year absolutely loved it! The house is roomy and very comfortable. We loved the privacy and the countryside, just beautiful! The house is conveniently located to Galena and takes no time to get there. If it works out next year, we’ll be back!

Nice little escape to Galena. Little attached townhome rental was perfect for us. Easy access, nice layout, responsive vacation mgmt team. Even during Covid times, they tried to help us with amenities as much as possible. We enjoyed the large owners club pool. And only 15 minutes to historic downtown Galena

This was our first time in Galena. We loved everything about the Galena Territories and Galena. This condo made the experience even better! It was perfect for the amount of people that came. The location was beautiful! We would definitely recommend this place!

It was hard to regulate the townhome’s temperature. Either very cold downstairs or very hot upstairs. Having owner’s club closed during our stay was undesirable. It was snowy during our stay and walk ways were not salted, making it dangerous to walk.

This was the perfect space for our trip to Galena. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. They had suggestions and tips of acticies and places to eat in town. The condo was very clean and spacious. It was easy to access and had all the amenities we needed. Linda was great to communicate with and responded quickly.

Overall this was a nice place to stay. The patio cushions were a bit moldy from being outside so they should probably be replaced. The grill could use some maintenance cleaning so it would heat more evenly. It would be nice to have a cutting board and a mixing bowl in the kitchen. Also, the bedroom pillows were uncomfortable and flat. These things being said, we did enjoy our stay and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us.

Our large family of three generations spent three wonderful nights at this property and everyone had a great time. The home was beautiful, clean, and had so much to keep us all entertained (pool table, games, hot tub, televisions, etc.) with plenty of room to gather together without feeling crowded but also plenty of space to spread out when we needed it. We also enjoyed the clubhouse pools, tennis/pickleball courts, and (pontoon) boat rentals within Eagle Ridge all of which were in great condition comparable to high quality resorts. This was a wonderful, quiet place to spend some quality family time together and get away from it all.

The Creekwood townhouse met all of our family's needs for a week long stay in Galena, IL. We were very comfortable whether sleeping, relaxing or meal times. The location was perfect!

The area was gorgeous, quiet, everyone at owners club and general store were very nice and helpful. The townhouse was very clean, had lots of room, well equipped in kitchen. The town was booming with activities, places to go, beautiful unique shops and restaurants. Went to Dubque, IA which is 30 mins. west to farmers market, 4th street oldest elevator, etc. and people. Great place to visit and live.

My family and their significant others (6 of us total) spent two nights here durin our recent ski/ shop:eat Galena trip. The place is perfect: lots of space, very clean, well- equipped kitchen and a fireplace. I am looking forward to staying here again. Dont hesitate to book this place!

This is a great place. The view of the golf course is beautiful. Had a chirping smoke detector, called, it was fixed within an hour.

We stayed for 2 nights in this unit while we were in the area for Parent Weekend at Loras College. What a wonderful and relaxing stay in a beautiful unit. We will definitely return!

Enjoyed our stay in the villa, very quiet and overall expectations were met. Only suggestion is to provide more towels, so that one does not have to pack extra towels for the trip.

My family wanted to plan a mini-vacation that would have something for everyone. That is easier said than done when you have two teenage sons. This destination was absolutely the right choice. Golf, pool, lake/fishing, basketball, hiking trails, and the cute town of Galena.
The condo was awesome. A very quiet area with enough room for all four of us. The master is on the lower level with it's own bath. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a sofa sleeper in the loft area. It also has it's own bath. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The grill hadn't been cleaned so we didn't use it but it's there if you want to enjoy the outside space.

Great area, great condo, lots of fun for the entire family.

This is one of the cleanest rental I have ever stayed at. It had everything. You need to bring your own bar soap though. It has stairs
going up and down, but that was not a problem for us. It was great for 4 to 6 people . We were treated nice by everyone we talked to . Had a wonderful time.

Our stay was last minute and the registration staff handled the transaction with prompt responses.

Solid choice

We had scheduling difficulties which changed our vacation dates twice Abby was great helping us replan. We used
the directions in our email to find the condo. Drove right up to it! Off to great start;the condo was clean and everything we expected.The weather was not the greatest but it gave us more time to enjoy the property.

I enjoyed our house........was there for a golfing excursion. The house was very clean and quite comfortable. My only complaint is that the a/c did not work. I did notify the property manager and she was willing to send someone to repair it but I declined because the temps were forcasted to be cooler later in the week. It might be good to check the a/c or heating systems before a guest occupied the house. That being said, we really enjoyed the property.

Came with another couple so queen beds were comfortable and worked well. I wish there was a TV in the master bedroom.
Also, had many small black bugs found and killed in the bathroom- may need to have home stayed. Kitchen worked perfectly. Fireplace was great and we used it all weekend!

Villa was very clean and just the right size for 2 couples. Very happy with the property and will stay there again. Great Escape management company were great to work with.
